Great Book for addressing specific health issues with whole foods!
This is the second book I have purchased written by Cherie Calbom. This book is very focused in addressing specific ailments, conditions, and diseases succinctly. Cherie not only addresses each topic from the standpoint of a brief/simplified pathophysiology, she also provides comprehensive diet recommendations including which whole foods will help, and also which nutritional supplements, herbs, and juice therapies apply. She also provides specific Juice recipes and discusses appropriate exercises to consider. She paints a wholistic picture to address complex issues.

As a heatlhcare practitioner, I find her approach very sound. I have applied some of the principles to my personal ailments after researching her recommendations with other sources, and continue to have very good results.

We really love this book. My husband has lots of health problems and he was told to use plenty of vegetable juices. We did not have any experience with this and this book gave us all the info we needed to get started. Would recommend to anyone who wants to make their own juices.

Well that is just not true. My overall cholesterol dropped 110 points from 288 to 178. Other conditions have improved as well. I am now quite alkaline, I know this because I use urine test strips. Because of my now alkaline body I no long get chronic headaches, chronic inflammation in my joints, bleeding gums. I have lost weight and my body buzzes with life force energy. I feel good enough to exercise regularly, something I have never done in my adult life until the past 2 years when I cut out animal products and began juicing regularly.
