Review :
A great product although less user friendly in reading
Written by experts in the field, this book gives a sound overview of health economics. The subject has been reviewed thoroughly in detail to suit a broad reader level. The graphs and figures are very informative.
I have also read the prior fifth edition and current book represents a substantial revision to incorporate recent PPACA.
Overall this is a great book.
Hence I would have given five stars if not for following major deficiencies.
1. The chapter-end summaries are far too short and tend to lose most key points.
2. The print of the text is far too light to the extent that reading becomes very eye straining and painful.
3. The descriptions at the foot of graphs and figures are frequently done in miniature fonts which are very difficult to read.

Concepts well explained, tone a bit off putting
I'm told by my economics professor that the book is actually quite good. But I can't get past the sexism and ageism in some of the examples. This was book was clearly written by a rich white guy. Maybe the next edition will be proof read with this in mind to bring the tone of the work into the current century.
nice book
Met my expectations, easy to understand. Like that it has components of the new ACA included.
Draw back very pricey.
