Very good information for seniors, and also for others such as my daughter who found valuable info. to use, for gardening, correct info. as how to locate and find availability of wood chips. I also found exemptions for seniors and how to get them. All in all, a very useful book, and I am glad that I purchased a used book in excellent condition, and a very low price.

Already know 50% of what is written
There are several things that are helpful, but many of the things written about are already known or are
not applicable to us. I have done spot reading according to subjects I was interested in. Good for someone who is maybe less informed or who has not put into practice the suggestions and info available
in the book. There are enough money saving tips to pay for the book, however, so I would recommend it
to anyone trying to cut costs and save on various things.

Nothing to do with "Senior", fradulent title, trivial advice, dubious savings claims
This book is a fraud. No more than 5% of the content has anything to do with "senior". Page 1 food market tips: Buy direct, Shop late, Pay cash, Eat seasonally. Page 2: hunt for hidden bargains. Page 3: check per-unit prices on sale items, buy bagged produce.

NONE of this advice pertains more to 50+ or seniors.

Interspersed over 355 more pages one will find "ask for senior discount" mentioned several times.

The exception would be page 91 "Supercharge your Social Security benefits" where you do receive invaluable advice, namely defer claiming SS until you reach full retirement age so that you can retain full benefits. Who knew?

And they top that brilliant advice on page 92 with the little known fact that for every year you defer benefits beyond full retirement age, up to 70, you lifetime benefit will be increased by 8%, and that may be of benefit to a surviving spouse. Yet no mention of the tradeoffs, namely that the break-even point for the...
